Glenman Corporation have recently been appointed Main Contractor on St. Colmcille’s Senior and Junior National Schools project. The contracts were signed on the 21st November 2011 at a ceremony in the school attended by Minister Alan Shatter, T.D.
Project Description:
The project consists of the construction of a 2 storey 3,075m² temporary prefabricated building at Ballyboden St. Enda’s complex in Ballyroan, the relocation of 22m² prefabricated building from Idrone Avenue to Ballyroan, the relocation of 2 prefabricated buildings (110m²) from the Junior to Senior School, and the provision of 4 new prefabricated buildings (260m²). The project also includes the demolition of the existing buildings in a phased development programme in order to construct a new 3 storey 58 classroom 9,847m² school building with ancillary car parking & playgrounds.
Works have started on site and the contract completion date is October 2013.
