Project Description:
Construction of a new 2 storey 35 classroom school, including 2 Science Laboratories, a Home Economics room, 2 Information Technology rooms and a number of Construction Study rooms, built on the existing site in two phases. The connection of drainage services entailed 230m of drainage works along the existing road.
Phase 1 began with the construction of new building adjacent to the existing school. Upon completion of the first phase the staff and students were moved to the new building allowing Phase 2 to commence.
Phase 2 included demolition of the old building making way for the construction of an additional building connected to Phase 1 via link corridors. The school remained in operation throughout the duration of the works. The school terms remained unaffected by the construction process.
