Glenman Corporation Ltd is a progressive Civil Engineering and Building Contractor operating in Ireland and the UK. We are currently seeking to recruit a Site Technician. Potential candidates must have a degree in Engineering/ Construction Management. The Site Technician is required to attend EHS awareness training, familiarise themselves with the EHS policy and manual, and work in accordance with the EHS management system.
The Site Technician will be assigned specific tasks according to the requirements of the project and the experience of the individual Site Technician. Depending on the project the Site Technician will either assist the Site Engineer or the General Foreman/ Site Manager, or on smaller projects a combination of the two.
Role & Responsibilities
The Site Technician will assist the Site Engineer in the performance of his/ her duties in the following areas:
- General
- Manage Engineering Works from Start to Finish
- Materials / Plant & Equipment
- Environmental, Health & Safety
Must be familiar with the Job Brief for an Assistant Engineer as it is expected that this will form part of the his/ her duties.
The Site Technician will also assist the General Foreman/ Site Manager in the performance of his/ her duties in the following areas:
- General
- Subcontractor Management & Management of Direct Employees (trade persons)
- Manage Works from Start to Finish
- Materials / Plant & Equipment
- Design Team Management
- Environmental, Health & Safety
