Glenman Corporation welcomes housing minister Esther McVey to Edward Foster Court to celebrate 100 years of social housing in Britain.

Celebrating 100 Years Of Social Housing

Glenman Corporation recently had the opportunity to welcome the new Housing Minister Esther McVey and Housing Councillor Kim Caddy from Wandsworth Council to Edward Foster Court (formerly Tidbury Court). It was recently renamed in honour of Edward Foster, the World War I Victoria Cross recipient.

The Minister was there to see the new build apartments but also to celebrate the centenary of the Addison Act and 100 years of social housing introduced by the British Parliament in 1919 after the war.
