This project consisted of a refurbishment of the front of the James Hardiman Library on the National University of Ireland Live Campus. As part of the Summer Works Scheme the Library foyer underwent a major refurbishment, with the introduction of a new Customer Services Desk and an office for information staff.

Works involved the demolition of existing partitions and screens to the podium and basement levels of the James Hardiman Library. Other areas which were constructed included the commercial Area to new reception area, a librarian’s office on podium level, a reconfigured bookshop, commercial units in basement and refurbishment of basement toilets.
The project was carried out on a live university campus and clinical planning took place to ensure the level of disruption was kept to a minimum.
