Project Description:
Upgrade of existing clinical unit in Merlin Park University Hospital constructed in the 1950’s for the treatment of Tuberculosis to accommodate a new Podiatry Clinic service which is the only one of it’s kind in Ireland to provide specialised services to people throughout the country. The facility will also provide clinical placements for students studying the BSC programme in Podiatry at NUI Galway and aims to develop a national resource for healthcare providers by becoming an internationally recognised centre for Podiatry care, education and research.
