It was another great turnout for the Race in Pink event at the Galway Races this year. It’s the second year we’ve supported this great cause in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. The Institute is a national charity based in the University Hospital in Galway dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research. These funds are vital for improving treatments and outcomes for women in Ireland and across the world. Last year’s event raised an impressive €95,000 but this year easily surpassed that with €150,000 raised.

We were proud to sponsor the Glenman Corporation Handicap Steeplechase which was won by Duhallow Paddy. Many congratulations to the worthy winners.

A sincere thank you to all our guests who attended and supported Race in Pink. We hope you had a wonderful day out.

A special thank you to Jennifer Skeffington at the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, and all the Galway Races team who made it possible.
